On October 11,2017, the foundation stone of the Yangtai ASP thin film PV production base project was laid in the Economic and Technological Development Zones of Yangcheng.

Thin film PV industry projects mainly include CdTe Thin Film Solar Module R & D, Production and PV system applications. The project mainly relies on the research and development Team of  Advanced Solar Power (Hangzhou) Inc., which was led by Professor Xuanzhi Wu, an international PV expert. After years of research and trial production, for the first time, the technology of high efficiency thin film CdTe solar cells has been popularized and applied in the domestic industry. The production process and core equipment of CdTe PV modules have been developed and have independent property rights, thus got rid of our country in this technology to the foreign dependence. When completed, the project will be the first CdTe thin film solar cell manufacturer in northern China.

CdTe thin film solar module has a series of advantages, such as high power generation capacity, high efficiency, stable performance, long lifecycle, low comprehensive cost, green environmental protection, etc. . It will be one of the most potential leading products in the new energy industry system in the future.
