The 16th China photovoltaic Academic Conference (CPVC) opened IN Tianjin today, bringing together about 500 photovoltaic elites FROM ALL over the country. The conference presented this YEAR's China photovoltaic special award and achievement award. Professor Wu Xuanzhi, chairman of Advanced Solar Power (Hangzhou) Inc. won the "China solar photovoltaic Achievement Award". 

CPVC, once known as "China Photovoltaic Conference", is sponsored by photovoltaic Professional Committee of China Renewable Energy Society. It has a history of more than 30 years. It has been committed to academic exchange of Photovoltaic Science and application, and has become the most influential and authoritative annual industry event of science and technology wind vane in China's photovoltaic field.

"China Photovoltaic Conference Award" was founded in 2006 and has been selected for 10 consecutive years. The "China Photovoltaic Conference Award" aims to reward individuals (collectives) who have made outstanding contributions in the field of China's Photovoltaic Science and technology, encourage the enthusiasm and creativity of Photovoltaic Science and technology workers in photovoltaic technology, industry, policy, market, application and other academic aspects, and promote the development of China's photovoltaic industry.
